Make someone's day merry: in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, a little reminder to send a card today. remember those who are struggling this holiday season-celebrating their first season without a loved one, loneliness, struggling with health issues, and so much more. send a card to remind them that they are loved and cared about.

Wonderful idea, Kimberly. This will be the first Christmas since my step-dad died. Since we lived far apart, I'd go in for about 2 weeks and take him to a local Christmas program and out to eat and, when he was still in his home, try to fill up his freezer with home cooked goodies. While I am doing OK, it will still be sad not to be making that trek home this year. And, I'm aware from his time in skilled nursing care that, no matter how wonderful the staff is, there are a lot of people there who have little/no family to brighten their days at this time of the year.
